廈門岷廈國際學校：Congratulations to MXIS Egret student Levana!

Congratulations to Levana Yau, a Grade 10 student, for bagging several awards during the recently concluded International Geography Bee China National Round 2023. The National Round took place in Shanghai last April 29 to May 1. Levana won Gold medal for Geo Task Force and Bronze medals for GeoGuesser, Geo Fair, Quiz Bee and Geo Show.

我校10年級學生Levana Yau在近期結(jié)束的2023年世界地理學術挑戰(zhàn)賽榮獲眾多獎項。全國輪已于2022年4月29日至5月1日在上海舉行。Levana在地理特攻隊榮獲金牌，在跟著地理去旅行、世界地理長廊、地理知識競答挑戰(zhàn)和地理劇場課堂榮獲銅牌。

International Geography Bee (IGB) is an academic geography challenge sponsored by the International Academic Competitions Committee. As one of the most prestigious integrated academic competitions in the US, IGB has been used to select the US national team for the International Geography Olympiads. The purpose of the event is to provide a platform for primary and secondary school students around the world to test their knowledge about world geography, stimulate their interest in the study of geography, and help them enhance their geographic literacy.

世界地理學術挑戰(zhàn)是由國際學術挑戰(zhàn)委員會主辦的地理學術挑戰(zhàn)，是美國最具有影響力的中小學綜合學術活動之一，也是國際人文地理奧賽美國國家隊的選拔活動。活動旨在為世界各地的中小學生提供世界地理綜合知識測試與競答交流平臺，激發(fā)中小學生對地理研究的興趣，幫助中小學生增強地理學科素養(yǎng)。

The top participants in 2022-2023 Shanghai Global Round will advance and will be invited to the Asian Championships held in June 2023 in Phuket, Thailand and compete with other outstanding peers from all over the world!

2022-2023年上海全球輪的頂級參賽者將晉級，并被邀請參加2023年6月在泰國普吉島舉行的亞洲錦標輪，與來自世界各地的優(yōu)秀學生同臺競爭!
